Burkina Faso
In areas of Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger, children are facing the threat of kidnapping, killing and forcefully required by armed groups. Recent flooding and COVID-19 have made situation worse leaving millions of children without education. More than 4,000 schools have been closed because of war or the threat of being attacked and 16,000 teachers are not at work. Only 300,000 children are not in school and 2,200 schools are not operational in Burkina-Faso, according to findings by the European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operation report.
EDUCO-Spain is global development NGO that is fight on the behalf of the children to give them protection and ensure quality education. This EU humanitarian funded NGO had helped more than 7,000 children and trained teachers and social workers to protect children surfing from war and other crises.
